the summer of holly
YIKES mate.. its been a while since I've been over to bloggy land. My sincere apologies.
You see.. its been wedding season. I know I use the same excuse every year. But with good reason. The wedding season runs from September until about now and that means every single weekend is spent flower flinging back to back weddings. AND I LOVE IT.
But what about the blog? What about you? I KNOW! I KNOW!
Well if you are on the instagram you will be up to speed, but if not - then settle in for a little catch up.
WILD FIELD ROSES, DINNER PLATE DAHLIAS, POPCORN HYDRANGEAS & POW POW PEONIES!
Wowzy doozy, I reckon I have gone though about one hundred cans of spray paint, a kilometre of fishing line, 20 pairs of snippers and two tonnes of water.
I've whiffa sniffed my way from Summer Bay to Byron Bay
I opened a pop up shop in Palm Beach (5 days out of 4 months) Ive dangled from the ceiling of the MCA, danced on my tippy toes at the Boat House and waved my pirate flag across Pittwater.
Ive turned garland making into an olympic sport and sliced & diced my feminine little flower fingers into indestructible tools of steel. All the while with a smile on my face because I am so grateful for the opportunity to make one special day, very extra super special thanks to the most radical people that find themselves in my company... The brides and grooms, the fancy pants planners, the noise makers, the avant gardeners, the farmer joes and the people that make my frothy cappuccinos.
Its been one heck of a Summer! The Summer of Holly
